If you look at 1980,1983,1988 which were the last 3 major US droughts, before 2012, the post drought year does not outyield the pre drought year in ave. US yield. Probably lingering dryness that affected the next year. Coincidence or not? 2011 ave yield at 147.2 did not seem realistic a few weeks ago. But is it? What are your thoughts?
