ears are dropping down like flies on anything that isn't intensely irrigated here. The beans, oooo, there are beans that guys thought were fine, because of the cool wet weather, so they weren't irrigating. Now they can't keep up. I think the beans are the real story. dryland are turning yellow to mature, if there is anything left. Which will be a bigger story next spring in the battle for acres, which means storing unsold corn will pay.
