| Just read your post on your cattle problems. If you're really worried about the other cows, I would grind up a load of feed and throw in some 50 gram aeromycin. Then feed in bunks every day, so you know they are getting the antibiotics. I have been around cows with anaplasmosis, and it isn't real common. Ususally only one animal gets it at a time, and you can definitely see the yellow around there eyes and mouth. This is why we have been using aeormycin for years. Generally put it out with the mineral from June to November. Usually this time of year we will have a cow with a respiratory problem, so you have to watch those to, and the antibiotics help with that. | |
