Subject: Why I'm Bipolar on Grain Markets

Ontario's middle east
Corn and soy face to vastly different scenarios according to the spreads. Corn spreads say ya...ho hum...I guess we need some....later ....yawn ....we ll pay ya a little to store it. Beans are saying we want them right now and we will take 50 cents of flesh if you store em. A scenario that seems to favour long beans/short corn, but farmers are doing the exact opposite. Selling beans holding corn. I hope they know something Mr Market doesn't, and they very well may IDK but so long as the market pays full cost of carry I have a tough time being friendly corn.
