Ontario's middle east | Corn and soy face to vastly different scenarios according to the spreads. Corn spreads say ya...ho hum...I guess we need some....later ....yawn ....we ll pay ya a little to store it. Beans are saying we want them right now and we will take 50 cents of flesh if you store em. A scenario that seems to favour long beans/short corn, but farmers are doing the exact opposite. Selling beans holding corn. I hope they know something Mr Market doesn't, and they very well may IDK but so long as the market pays full cost of carry I have a tough time being friendly corn.
