Tough to do on them as it is, maybe now with EFI Live support it will be easier, but the gains are still minimal on the new ones. Not to mention the loss of warranty. He should be going above the dealer and trying to figure out if he just has terrible luck or there is something else wrong the dealer is not finding. Many just replace parts and dont actually fix the real problem.
