Subject: 4930 boom won't stay up

WC Saskatchewan
So now I have a new problem, my centre boom section falls and bottoms out. Boomtrac will lift it to the set height but it falls back down once it reaches the set height. Will continue to hunt up and down driving down field. wing cylinders are completly unaffected, just the mainframe. Folding and unfolding do the same thing. Lifting out of the cradle works but if you release the button it will fall back into the cradle. Makes for difficult unfolding and folding! I don't think it is an issue with boom trac, it's either hydraulic or possible electrical, but I think more hydraulic. Like a valve is sticking and not holding the position. Restarting machine will sometimes clear the problem but it will soon return. And the warmer the oil the more prevalent the problem gets. Example first tank no problems, second tank the problem starts but can be cleared upon restarting engine. Third tank the problem is there regardless. Ideas?
