sc kansas | has any one ever had trouble with their 20 series,<7320,7420,7520> hand throttle potentiometer. my 7420 with ivt has trouble with the engine speed automatically going back to a idle position and a code comes up that say ground fault at hand throttle potentiometer and activate the go home mode. usually shift ivt lever back to neutral or park and pull back on hand throttle and code goes away and hand throttle works fine. I've had mechanic look at it and they checked for loose wires and ground but could not find anything wrong and the throttle potentiometer is over 200-300 bucks and mechanic says that replacing it might not fix the problem. usually only does it when first start up tractor and using it the first hr or so. then may run rest of day mowing and not have any issues. | |
