Although at times like these I think it's valuable to listen to a guy named Warren Buffett. He has some saying along the lines of stocks should only be traded for 5 minutes a day. The rest of the time is just fluff. He also says you should Rip Van Winkle companies. Buy them, go to sleep for 20 years, then wake up and see what happened. That is obvioulsy overdoing it for commodities, but I think a similar strategy has value. Sit tight, establish your sell points, ignore the noise, pull the trigger when you need to, and sleep easy at night. | |
