I think the effort would need to be focused at the grassroots level. Similar to what the organic people have done. Talk about success. They have taken a fringe of people and turned it almost mainstream. Using our pitiful amount of money to change opinions of politicians that have big oil money paying for elections is a HUGE uphill battle. We're using spitballs in a war where big oil has nukes.

Same as the people that keep trying to convince others that GMO's are safe. It's a lost cause in my book. At this point there are children of the parents that hated GM crops. We keep growing them to feed the world. They keep hating it...but they like cheap food.
