Explain to me who in there right mind started this thing where countries can order grain then cancel there contracts and buy it cheaper! Had to be a really stupid SOB that put that kind of deal together. I wish I could call my co-op tell them urea is at a lower price now so I want to cancel what I bought and get it at the lower price.
It's because contracts like we are used to here would be unenforceable. We can't protect our copyrights and patents over there so how would we protect contractual agreements. The only enforcement would be cutting off trade with offending parties, but most of us and our leaders don't have the backbone for that, so, here we are............. |
