A lot of people said that addition of cow manure increase soil pH, but I have read some comments that could also decrease soil pH.

Read following link where they mentioned how to decrease pH using manure plus something else.

I think perhaps you are going to get more answers to your question if it’s posted on crop forum as this is more related to agriculture than to cattle.

Besides for me there are differences on manure quality according to what is cow feed composition and if fresh with or w/o liquid or composted manure is used.



Thanks for the info, I'll post this on the crop forum. I to have heard the pH going both ways and not sure what to do.
