| Not sure what model you have. I had a gehl haybine for awhile. It has the Cv joint on the Pto shaft about middle ways coming from the tractor going to the gearbox. When the CV joint is worn it allows alot of vibration and movement of the shaft that eventually will ruin the seals in the gearbox. I am sure more damage could be done depending on wear. These are not a cheap fix as they are not common. Replacing all u joints, and CV joints was going to be close to $2000 for the one i had..... Good Luck! | |
