What I am saying is that every year the trade decides if the crop is "made" or not "made".
If the crop is "made", then the price declines to a given price level, while if the crop is not "made", then the price rises to a given level.
So, I am saying that if the soybean crop is considered "made" by the trade, then prices should move lower toward $10.75. If the soybean crop is considered not "made" by the trade, then prices should move higher toward $14.75. I have taken positions in the market to try to profit for these potential moves.
I don't use charts to predict where the market is definitely going to go, but to get an idea of where it might go if certain things happen. It's just like playing cards. If the cards are being dealt one way, I bet a certain way, while if they are being dealt another way, I bet another way.
Take a look at the ZCZ3 chart. The trade considered the crop "made" a long time ago and we have been grinding lower ever since.
