Safe to say if you are farming old pasture ground in the Cerrado or reclaimed government collective ground in Ukraine odds are the rent is pretty cheap.
I would not recommend betting on those odds. A lot of that pasture ground we saw in SA has had the rent/purchase prices bid up nearly as bad as here in the US. Chances are whatever is saved on the cheaper land is usually spent dealing with some other issue, like transportation issues in SA or bribes in Russia.
In the end farmers are the same everywhere, they'll bid it all to 0 profit eventually. |
