They adjusted for poor test weight corn in 2009, alot accually. The problem is it took till june of 2010 to get it right. So freezing early does change the ending national yield.
The problem is again that it might take until June 2014 for them to get it right again. My favorite marketing guy Bill Fordham was screaming this all fall and nobody listened up high. They just expected that 10,000 bu bin to have 10,000 when in reality we were hauling out 9,000 bu of yellow moldy crap. |
