Here is an interesting link for all. I am about 175 GDU behind average with crop planted Mid May. The good news is that I am still 160 ahead of 2009. It needs to warm up in a hurry and stay warm for longer than normal.
Where are you and do you have any chance of hitting black layer in time??? If we have an "average" year going forward I am looking at late September/ 1st Oct. But it is supposed to be in the low 40s for low temp this week...
