With more than 100 nearby pizzerias, those with an appetite can grab a slice at Bronx, Filippi's, or Golden Hill's Pizzeria Luigi where mouthwatering toppings include sun-dried tomatoes, roasted red peppers, and homemade meatballs. A TripAdvisor traveler commented, "The pizza was just as good as being home in New York." Oddly enough the best pizza I've ever had was either in Duluth, MN or Berkeley, CA. I lean towards the Berkeley one by about 15%. I've dined at a Chicago place that was supposed to be the best in Chicago and didn't think it was any better and actually not as good as the local pizza places. Where is the best pizza place you've eaten? It's all opinions so there can't be a wrong answer and I wouldn't mind finding some new places as we travel, though most of our travel is to Berkeley or Austin. |
