Kingston,Mi | As Torn said, a solution looking for a problem. Next question is how do they prevent spoilage in the products other than the peanut butter? Welch's jam , the mayonnaise and the salsa are in containers that have a pop up indicator in the lid to indicate that it is sealed and the message to " reject if button is up and refrigerate after opening". Do they anticipate open shelves filled with sealed jars being replaced by coolers filled with their non-hermetically sealed wonder jar or do they add a shrink wrapped cover?
If they are packaging majors, they might look into adding a food scientist to the team to prevent any more embarrassing missteps.
