Adelaide Hills, South Australia | The first pic is the calve leaving the yards, "tailing them out" as they called it. They follow them out on motorbikes so they are not just mustered with bikes and helps to train them to be handled.
Second pic is of the yards they where using that day. They have sets of yards at several locations on the station.
Third pic is towards a creek in the distance, where the line of trees are.
It was evident how they manage things well and reduced cattle numbers as the feed level reduced. There was rain in that area after we left and we pray they got some of it there. I hope you like these pics, they are just some I took on my phone, all it is good for out there, no coverage. |
