Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND | one trick I have tried with almost 100% success is to grind a 45 degree bevel on the edge of the pad material where it contacts the rotor. As the pad wears enough to remove the bevel you may have to do it again. The explanation I was given is that the sharp 90 degree edge on the friction material is what causes the squeal. Grinding that bevel on the pad so it is no more than a 45 degree angle where it contacts the rotor seems to kill the noise.
