NW Iowa | Have some pasture acres that took a beating last fall with dry weather, then severely flooded and silted this spring, now taking a beating again with drought conditions. Need to beef up the tonnage produced in this pasture. Fertilized with 60 lbs N last spring. What are some recommendations for seeding - what to seed, how to seed, and when to seed. I don't want to tear up and start over. Legumes won't work as it has a history of GrazeOn for weed control. Considering trying to drill seed some time in early October. TIA for any suggestions. | |
