| In the northeast part of Kansas, there has been a record hay crop, and the spring grass has been really good where it wasn't overgrazed last year. I have had hayfields that made 4 ton/acre of brome grass this year, and even people that didn't fertilize had good hay. I would think the price of pairs should keep going up, because hay is getting cheaper (less than $100/ton). I personally would not be interested, but maybe advertise in a farm newspaper? I might buy more pairs this fall if they are a good price. | |
