South East South Dakota/winters Tucson, AZ | I have a neighbor that wants me to wrap his straw and i am new to this wrapping thing and i have not figured out how much plastic i am using on a bale. I keep adjusting bale size so i am not set on a size.
So anyway is there a way to calculate amount of wrap on a bale, We are going to make 4x5 straw bales with 6 wraps.
The bales i did of mine today were 4x5 and wrapped 8 times, i think it was costing me about $2.50 per bale for plastic. How does that compare to your cost. I am baling oat baleage .
Edit: I am wrapping individual bales making baleage not an inline wrapper
