NE Iowa | If you're just feeding beef cows and the sole purpose of grinding is to get them to eat them I would not get a bale processor or tub grinder. I would take the money that I would have spent on the machine and buy a bale wrapper or put up a shed for hay. Even if grinding gets them to eat them you are still suffering dry matter and quality loss from sitting outside. Hay shed is best but it wouldn't take any more labor to wrap the hay then it would to grind them. | |
