Subject: RE: Deere or Kubota Skidsteer?

Sumner GA, Located in southwest GA,
I'd lean Kubota myself, I think they are a better design. My impression with Deere skidsteers is they are a bear to climb in and out of, I would hate to do it all day, and I do it quite frequently loading litter, Kubota is a bit better in that respect. Otherwise, I would probably be swayed on price. Either one seems comfortable once in the cab. If Deere is using the vertical linkage like old New Holland's still, a Kubota might be a little sturdier for a lot of dirtwork but you probably wont start noticing anything till the 1500-2000 hour mark, more if you are religious about greasing it.
