Sumner GA, Located in southwest GA, | I've done the drought thing as well, I watched every bit of dryland burn up in 11, 0 yield, harrow them up fields. Neighbors dryland cotton test plot, the winner picked 220, loser was around 75, worst drought I have ever been involved in, worst for dad since 80, and a lot of old timers compared it to 54. I have definitively been around my fair share of droughts, I don't curse a rain, however it would be nice to have a few better timed rains so I could get something done. |
