Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot | Looks good. I'd sure like to have a barn like that for cow feeders and feeder hay. I know our air is drier than yours, but I've never had a problem feeding hay that is several years old that has been barn stored. Our barns are roof only, so the sides bleach out, but 1/4" into the bale and three years later it is just as good as the day it was put in.
With a barn that nice, you shouldn't have any problems. Again, we are dry here, but so long as the barn has good drainage away from it and a little rock down on the floor, you shouldn't need pallets. We put plastic down for export hay to keep it clean and dry, but it isn't necessary for dairy or stock hay. | |
