Subject: The GMO crowd again...............

“These are the times that try men's souls.”
Well this one will be interesting how this one plays out. http://www.capitalpress.com/content/CRD-Chobani-GMO-071713 Chobani just built the biggest yogurt plant in the world in Idaho. Last I heard they weren't running at full production, or at least they weren't taking all the milk they said they were going to take. Will they tell the GMO crowd to take a flying leap or will the cave to them and make dairymen change the feed stuffs? If the later happens, it will put more dairies out of business.

My bet is Chobani will just make a statement, go on with life. It will be interesting. My processor made the commitment to not use BST treated cows to make products, as it would have cut out a lot of their customer base. I've always said give the customer want they want, if it is going to cost more, so be it. Make them pay the burden, don't know how you would pass the raise in feed costs forward in this instance.

When are we going to be able to educate this GMO college educated idiots with too much time on their hands? I feel the only way it will happen is if and when they go hungry.
