New Madrid, MO | My 2005 F-250 did that too. No matter where the key was, in my pocket or the ignition, it would ding and drive me nutty!! I took it to the dealer, and they mechanic was going to fix it, and show me what wire to pull, but he did it for me (guess he didnt want to have to put a new ignition in) It is one wire in the botton of the column with a clip on the end that slides on the metal underneath. The only drawback I have found with it, is you either have to be careful, or carry an extra set of keys, seems like I tend to lock mine up in the truck more now! That fuse trick sounds neat....get an couple of miles for the price of one, huh? | |
