Subject: Re: Castrating on a calf table

Eastern Oregon
We have used a calf table for about 15 years now on my Dad's operation. We do about 80-90 calves every spring. There is a chain with an "ankle brace" that you hook a leg up and out of the way to give easy access. I think it'a siefert brand chute? We usually do with three people though: one to run the head catch and chute pivot, one to push the calves in, and one to do the cutting and branding.
