Subject: Use for carmelized hay?

East central Iowa
I've got 70- 700 lbs. bales from 1st. cutting that I baled between rains and it was a little tough so it is lightly carmelized. I have dry ewes I have given them a couple, and they chew on them some but the hay is coarse. Thought about grinding. I know feed value isn't much. I wish I had some old cows to feed it to. What could I do with this hay. I have 240 bales from 1st. cutting the sheep aren't going to use efficiently.

Been busy lately haven't kept up with AgTalk.
