Northeast, NE | I know what you mean about just not being able to make the call. Here is what you do. Make several other calls before to get the nerves out. Call the credit card company to dispute a late charge, call the Co-op to ask about fertilizer prices, call your grandma to ask for her brownie recipe. Anything to get the words flowing so you don't sound like a bumbling idiot. Then just make the call or better yet jump in the pickup and drive over there like frytownfarmer suggests. Sounds silly, but it works. Remember that if it doesn't work out... oh well. You will be that much more prepared when the next opportunity arises. What if they agree to what you are thinking? Have you talked this out with your banker? Will he even allow you to make an offer. Good luck and keep us posted! | |
