A special hose end sprayer is made for reaching higher into trees. This one says it will go 25' in air. But this hose end sprayers are about as accurate as a slingshot, IMHO. And when you point in the air it up the you must have a lot of chemical in the jug or else it sucks air. A trombone sprayer works ok for a few trees, but your arms soon give out working the pump. This link should have the tree sprayer which should be available at most hardware and garden stores,
