| I just got one last winter. It works great so far. The cattle love it. Even the little calves stick their faces in there. I haven't seen hardly any face flies this year, but that might have a lot to do with the weather too.
They don't have to be anchored at all, they're really heavy. I posted some pictures on here last week of mine with a flood going over it and it didn't move an inch. Biggest problem with it in this wet weather is the cows keep digging a hole around it so you have to keep moving it.
Transport isn't real easy because it's kind of awkward to pick up with anything. Although, you take two of the three pipes out you can (carefully) set it into the back of a pickup truck with a set of pallet forks and you can pull it out of the pickup by hand when you get to where you're going. | |
