Threw out a few bales of hay last night and walked off and let the gate open. Around noon today, my wife asked me why I put the cows in the front pasture while all the gates were open on the highway side. I jumped and ran. Sure enough they were grazing about midway down the pasture so I jumped in the PU and went to close the two gates.  Sure got lucky on that one. I would have  swore that there was no way I would leave a gate open where the cows were. Old age I guess.
