West Tennessee | Yes we do. We hand feed everyday. We are feeding a commodity based feed, formulated and blended by Tennessee Farmers Co-op. Also have a free choice mineral we leave out for them. We used to be guilty of pushing the cattle in the past. Feed em as much as they'd eat from the time they arrive until the time they leave. Now we let em do their own thing, and push em the last 15-25 days. Cattle seem to grow off better and have better condition about em. We are keeping them for about 150 days. We figure a conservative 2.5 adg. | |
