| We area dairy milking about 100 cows, but looking to be around 120 late fall. Some of what is in those pics is from last year (2 tubes - 1 dry and 1 balage) . Have about a 9x250 bag of haylage and part of another so far. we bought about 35 ton of dry cow hay and thats what we were wrapping. Our area is a little dry right now, so i like having the extra feed around.
Last year we went a little light on the plastic maybe 4 wraps and had some slime stuff. tried to get 6-8 on this year. Last years was stuff they stacked in a barn then we moved and wrapped a few months later. This year we wrapped right out of the field. We'll see how it works. | |
