| Corn..........very choppy trading day, with corn opening lower, rallying up to make new contract highs, and then selling off again on more profit taking by the end of the session. Support came from Taiwan tendering 42,000 tons of US corn, and Iran coming in this week for a 165,000 ton tender. China sold 27,000 tons of their reserve to the domestic markets today. Outside markets and equities declined on thoughts of a looming recession, with crude down almost $3. I didn't think we were trading with Iran. Interesting. |
