| Have had a couple people custom feed for me. The first and second groups always go well then over time things start slipping (daily gain, death loss, overall care) Eventually I end up frustrated and not making enough money to justify and pull the cattle out. Cattle seem to do much better at home when I keep an eye on them. Funny how if it is your own checkbook how much smoother things go, not that I have never had a mess but a lot less messes anyways. How is everyone compensating custom growers to keep them motivated or is it a lost cause and just bite the bullet and build another lot and do it all in house. | |
