Cleburne TX | A while back there was a discussion about drying hay. Someone posted a video that NH had done removing the tin behind the rolls. Some of us wondered.
Well I did it on my old JD 1209. It works great and yes the hay does dry faster. Also I can see if there is a plugged spot on the sickle by the flow out the back and it never builds up between the wheels and rolls. Now, it wasn't just bolts it did take the torch, but I have a rule to never cut what I can't weld back. Trying to add pictures. | |
