My 7220 also does this. Had it checked out and they could not find anything wrong while they had it. Usually after you turn on the AC the light will come on, I turn it back off, wait a second and try to turn it on again. Usually takes 5-6 trys and then it works well and the light stays off. Kind of annoying but eventually it has always worked.
