"Here" it probably wouldn't get used much but if I was putting in a bathroom and hot water I'd probably go ahead and put a small shower in as well.

It would come in handy occassionally for visitors to the hog farm.

I wouldn't worry too much about cleaning a shower that rarely gets used and isn't in your wifes view.
