| I have been using the ToughBook CF18 for the past 4 years and other than having a small key board it is a great product. You may want to check out warranty on new products. With Panasonic having a 3 year program it is well worth the extra cost. I did have a prw supply problem a while back and contacted them for repair. The unit was picked up at my home sent to Kansas City (a world wide repair facility) repaired and returned in just a matter of days (zero out of pocket cost). Product support and service is outstanding. Mine has been dropped (for demo purposes) at least 25 times and other than a few scratches all is well. You can also get recons off web.
