| I have recently purchased a house and 30 acres adjoining my original 40. It has 5 hog buildings on it that are farrow to finish. They are some older buildings but are in decent enough shape.
What are my options? Is it worth the time and money to try and do farrow to finish or go wean to finish? Or should I just save time, money and headaches and just tear them down and farm the ground.
I have a contract hog person that I have not talked to yet, so I don't know the details of that but am wanting some opinions and information before I talk to him.
If I can make a little bit of money with the buildings I have, I would like to make the most of it. If not, then it is a pretty good chance that they will be tore down.
I am looking for some honest opinions for what I have on my hands. | |
