| Guy calls me today from interstate commodities (never heard of them had a Florida number) and tells me he has corn that he can sell to hog farms for 30 cents under market. Says it was sprayed with something that the FDA has condemned to dairies and layers and cant go to ethanol plants because DDGS go to dairies and layers. Elevators with the corn are more than an hour away and it is perfect corn to feed hogs. FDA has to come out and approve the site and document where the corn is going. Sounds like a big hassle to me or even worse a scam. Anybody ever heard of anything like this. I have only been farming for 8yrs but this sounds fishy to me. | |
