near dyersville iowa | in the 70s..dad used what was basically a pole building with insulation. Had 16 pens in it if i remember correctly. Let the sows out twice a day for feed and water. Sows always knew which pen was theirs..when the piglets got older, would raise the petitions enough to let the pigs run back and forth to a creep feeder. Worked, but lots easier ways of doing things now..Btw..i have some plastic flooring and a scraper system(crates are gone) if you think you can use them... | |
