WC Iowa | Thank you for all of the comments. I didn't write this to get a pat on the back, but I sure feel better about the situation. I wasn't fine when he was knocking me, but I swallowed it. Then when he insulted my daughter, I felt someone had to defend her and it didn't look like her mom was going to. All I said to myself when I was walking up to this little punk was what my grandpa told me when she was born. "It takes a firm hand, not a strong fist to raise a child." Told my dad that he said that after he told me that 8 years ago,when she was born and he just wishes that was his theory when he was his young son. | |
