depends if you're using it yourself, how you are using it and what kind of baler you got. Rotary straw won't work very well in a flail bale processor, older round balers with twine wrap can be a bear and the twine is hard to keep on. Square bales of rotary are more dense and very fluffy, but some people like the long stem walker straw that they can handle easily with a pitchfork. I prefer walker straw.
