There is I think I will have to look a coupler that is held in place by a cotter pin like the smaller Massey's. I have heard of taking out the spider gears in the rear end and it stops but that was on the higher HP models. You might take the cover off the rear end and you can look in and see if the ring gear is turning. I did that on a 2745 that lost the spiders.
