Sumner GA, Located in southwest GA, | Have used an accumulator for several years, hands down way to go. Problem was skid steer died on me friday afternoon. Starter quit, after 5, no local mechanic to help, obviously no dealer after 5, and rain coming sometime Sat with over 800 bales on the drive. Only thing to do, start chunking them on wagons. Called in as much help as we could find, loaded from 6-9 last night. Luckily didn't rain overnight, unloaded 3 wagons and reloaded starting at 8 this morning and finished at noon. Only good thing to say is I outworked the city boys, I do believe a couple would have passed out if we had done much more, and I sure dont miss the labor bill, $320 on that little endevor and a little over three times the amount of time I can do it by machine. I'm spent. |
